Today I remembered our little tumblr. account “Lo.Co Tribe” that I started in the beginning of time. Thankfully it hadn’t been deleted and here it is for safe keeping! I love that it was named with the family goal of having ourselves a little tribe and here we are with Jack, Fiona and Conway brewing. ❤ I love my family!!!

Let’s Get Lost

A simple joy on the journey was watching a good samaritan look at our disposable camera like it was a telegraph. I love the lucky little light leaks (ohh band name) and organic feel behind disposables! It was amazing to see the changing terrain throughout Utah and Northern Arizona… Wandering together is majestic but coming home together is always the cherry on top!

Young Women’s Lesson: Why is Jesus Christ important in my life?

When we found out that we had a baby on the way I was 4 weeks along! We took a silhouette picture right away with the the excitement of watching my bod grow.. I have refused to take a picture since then because I have been feeling ultra thicky thick without a defined baby bump! Cody reminds me that “[I] have a baby in there!”, but up until we heard the heart beat it was hard to comprehend! Hearing the heart beat at 12 weeks was UNREAL! We didn’t expect to get emotional but we definitely teared up and felt a really cool connection to our little babe. I’m at 14 weeks now (3 ish months) and will be posting the latest belly silhouette soon! We are so excited!!! Love you alls! xo!

BABY MOON

Last week on the 24th, was Pioneer Day which is celebrated throughout the LDS church but in Utah the state embraces it as a holiday where local shops close their doors, parades are marched and fireworks blaze the sky. To start off the month we watched a movie called 17 Miracles which is one of those perspective changing movies that gave me a deeper appreciation for the lives we live today and the miracles that come from faith. It’s based on a specific group of pioneers who set out on their journey to SLC late in the season, endured a horrendous winter and many miracles along the way. The weekend after watching the movie we went to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir’s Pioneer Day Concert where we were inspired by the talent of the orchestra, choir and guest performances! When they sang the english folk song / hymn, “Come, Come, Ye Saints” written by a pioneer on his trek, the lyrics hit me differently because of the better understanding I had recently gained. It was my favorite song that night and I want to save the lyrics on this shindig so I can look at them often! The photo behind the lyrics is of the Salt Lake Valley, where the pioneers settled, from our old spot on Capitol Hill. Photo Cred- Jefra Starr Linn ❤

Bear Country
The road trip to Jackson Hole was UNREAL! Such beautiful scenery the entire way. I would do it again just for that amazing drive.. and Moo’s home made ice cream. Jackson Hole’s downtown square is full of mid west country charm. And by charm I mean tons of stuffed animals, the real kind, and ammmazing friend chicken and waffles.
The hiking was beautiful. I can never get enough of the fresh smell and deep booty burn I get from a long hike. The rhythmic clapping every 15 seconds to scare bears away was a liiiittle bit iffy but we survived unscathed!
Chrissy girl is due this August!! We got to hang with her little preggy self and AWESOME hubby! Katrina, Ricky and their baby girl Bailey were great company as well. It is SO COOL/ crazy to see our little families growing! Yeehaw!
